The Hendon Hall Hotel London was originally known as the 'Hendon Manor' which dates back to the 1500's and was known to have been recorded in the Doomsday book. Its life as a hotel began in 1911 after having been used as girl’s school since 1852. Indeed even before life as a school the building was owned by David Garrick, an 18th century English actor and playwright and a big influence in the theatre during this time. During the Second World War the hotel was used by the RAF for the recovery of its injured men. In 1966 the England soccer squad spent the night here the day before going on to win the world cup.
My son and I went to Wembley for the England v Montenegro qualifier.
We stayed overnight at The Hendon Hall Hotel, the staff were extremely attentive, polite and most welcoming. The hotel grounds were very well kept, as was the room in which we stayed. The food in the restaurant was very good, we had a very Enjoyable stay.
The hotel was situated 6 miles from Wembley, a 20 minute drive away
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
