Sheffield Wednesday says the Steel City derby beam back at Hillsborough on Sunday was a huge success.
With the visiting allocation at Bramall Lane of 4,300 tickets snapped up in two days, the Owls staged a live beam back on three big screens.
Almost 11,000 fans packed the South Stand at Hillsborough, giving the Owls the second highest attendance in League 1 this weekend - without the team being present!
Wednesday produced an official match day programme - the first in the club’s history for an away fixture - which completely sold out ahead of the pulsating 2-2 derby draw.
We should thank Sheffield Wednesday and
John Rutherford and all the staff for arranging it and also all the hard work Televideo and ADI TV did .
